downloading w/Hotfile

On Friday, I purchased a membership for Hotfile (1 yr.). I d/l 2 or 3 files as soon as I could. I d/l these files using IDM,
and had no problem. The next file contained 4 segments and the last 3 d/l with the transfer rates they should have. The 1st segment did not. It was indicating a transfer rate of 10kb/sec, as opposed to approx. 680kb/sec for the last three. Since that time I haven't been able to d/l multiple segment files at all. I'm sure there's probably something I'm doing wrong, but I have no idea what it might be. I used IDM to d/l large multi-segment files from RS with no problem. Any help would be appreciated. This is quite an unusual case you've got here.

Why not try these suggestions and lemme know if it works;

1. Delete your cookies and temp internet files.
2. Configure your IDM to D/L 16 connections, you can do this by clicking "Downloads">"Options">"Connection"
Change your connection type/speed and set the default maximum connection to 16.
